Returns can be made on most defective products up to 3 months from the
invoice
date. We require the original invoice and/or packing slip as proof of
purchase,
and the reason for return. If defective, manufacturer may require customer
to
provide printed material and/or technician notes as to defective nature.
Most manufacturers require this as proof in an effort to ensure better
quality control. In cases of defectives we offer a replacement for the
defective
item. If the manufacturer determines that the product is not defective, ESI
reserves the right to charge customer for the replacement product.
Certain manufacturers have "special order" items which they do not consider
returnable and as such ESI cannot offer returns, credits, or refunds for
those items. In those cases ESI will provide customer with manufacturer
information for customer
to interact directly with manufacturer. Please be aware of this when
ordering products online. ESI reserves the right to refuse credit, and/or
pro-rate products due to
the amount of usage prior to the return. Items returned due to reasons
other than defectiveness are made on a case-by-case basis depending on
resalability, age of sale, and may be subject to a 25% restocking fee and/or
shipping costs.
